Sankalp Decatur | Our Story
The promise behind every plate
Sankalp is the Sanskrit word for a solemn vow — a commitment made with full intention. That conviction shapes every dish we cook and every guest we welcome.

The roots
The food at Sankalp traces back to the streets of Mumbai — the chaat stalls, the Vada Pav vendors, the South Indian griddles firing before dawn. These aren't distant inspirations; they are the blueprint.

What the name carries
We named this restaurant after that conviction because anything less wouldn't be worth putting on your plate.
The range of the kitchen
From Chilly Garlic Dosa to slow-cooked biryani sealed in dum, from tandoori platters to Indo-Chinese fusion, our kitchen doesn't pick one region and stop there. India never did.
How we welcome you
The owner greets every table personally and walks you through the menu. Hospitality here isn't a policy — it's the point.
Decatur, and beyond
Decatur is a neighborhood that knows good food and expects the real thing — and Sankalp arrived ready to deliver. Atlanta Magazine noticed, and the community kept coming back.
